OIE Terrestrial Animal Health Code Commission
Twice each year, the OIE Terrestrial Animal Health Code Commission meets to consider revisions and new draft and revised chapters for the Terrestrial Animal Health Code (TAHC). Some of these chapters deal directly with creating standards for the welfare of animals, while others impact animal welfare less directly. The Code Commission produces a report of these draft and revised chapters and makes this available for the comment of member countries and other stakeholders, such as ICFAW.
